Rohit Sharma’s Early Life 

Rohit Gurunath Sharma was born on April 30, 1987, in Bansod, Nagpur, Maharashtra. He spent his early years in a modest household, living with his grandparents and uncles due to financial constraints

Rohit Sharma’s domestic career began with a bang. He made his debut for the West Zone in the Deodhar Trophy in March 2005, where he impressed with a half-century against Central Zone

Sharma’s breakthrough came during the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup held in Sri Lanka. His consistent performances, including a crucial 78-run innings against Pakistan in the semi-final, 

International Debut and Initial 

Rohit Sharma made his One Day International (ODI) debut for India against Ireland on June 23, 2007. 

The turning point in Rohit Sharma’s career came during the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy. He was promoted to open the batting alongside Shikhar Dhawan, a move that transformed his career.
